It’s claimed illegal dumping is spiraling out of control in parts of East Clare.
Meelick Councillor Cathal Crowe is calling on Clare County Council to install temporary CCTV cameras in the Meelick and Cratloe areas to help identify and prosecute those who are responsible for the ongoing dumping of domestic waste.
The Fianna Fáil Councillor says mattresses, baby equipment and several refuse sacks of babies nappies have been dumped on an ongoing basis since April last.
