It’s a busy day of action in the Clare Senior Football Championship with 6 games down for decision.

Clondegad and Lissycasey cross swords once more in their Round Two replay with the winners going on to the quarter final while the losers will have one more shot at the last eight when they face Ennistymon.

That one gets underway in Cooraclare at 2.30pm, while at the same time in Gurteen, Corofin and Eire Óg square off with a quarter final spot also on offer for the winners.

2015 champions St Josephs Miltown are bidding to make it a fourth successive appearance in the quarter finals when they take on O’Currys in Doonbeg.

Miltown boss Michael Neylon says they’re taking nothing for granted.

Also at 3pm, both relegation playoffs are down for decision as two more teams will move one step closer to dropping out of the top tier.

Miltown is the venue for the meeting of Kilkee and Kilfenora while at the same time in Corofin, Wolfe Tones take on St Breckan’s.

The final game this evening is in Round Three as Doonbeg and St Josephs clash in Miltown at 6pm.

The line up for the Clare Intermediate Football semi finals will be known after today’s action.

Kilmihil can seal their place in the last four as Group One winners if they get the better of Clarecastle in Coolmeen with a 2pm throw in.

The other semi final spot from that group is a straight shootout between Kildysart and Liscannor as they meet in Quilty at 5.30pm.

Group Two leaders Kilrush play a winless Meelick at the Eire Óg grounds with a 5pm start while the other last four spot will likely be between Coolmeen and Shannon Gaels who square off in Kilmihil at 4pm.
