The opening game of the day in Round 2 of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship saw the meeting of Clonlara and last year’s Intermediate Champions Broadford in Cusack Park.
At halftime Broadford lead by one point. It was 0-10 to 0-09.
Scoring was tight in the second half – however, Broadford held on eventually winning with two points to spare.
