The manager of the defending Clare Senior Hurling champions insists they’re not thinking about past events as they continue their bid to retain their title.

Cratloe provide the opposition for Sixmilebridge tomorrow in the last eight for the second year running with the Bridge coming into the game with two wins from two so far.

When they met 12 months ago it was Sixmilebridge who came out on top but manager John O’Meara says that will no bearing this time around

Meanwhile Ballyea boss Kevin Sheehan feels they have coped well with the loss of some key players this year.

2016 Munster club winning captain Stan Lineen along with Gearoid O’Connell and Cathal Doohan are all unavailable while Paul Flanagan will miss out through injury.

They take on Inagh/Kilnamona on Sunday and Sheehan says their new men have acquitted themselves well.
