A West Clare Hotelier is warning the hotel and tourism industry in Clare is facing into a very bleak winter.

The Irish Hotels Federation says 8,800 jobs in Clare are at imminent risk, with only 17% of hotel rooms in the Midwest expected to be filled this month and next.
