Over 300 homes and businesses in Clare are without power this afternoon on account of the weather conditions.
A blast of lightening shortly before one o’clock led to outages in the Ennis and Newmarket on Fergus areas.
ESB crews are currently investigating the faults and are working to restore power to the 329 affected properties as soon as possible.
