14-day Quarantine Rule ‘Impeding Return Of Air Travel’ – Shannon Group Chair

Shannon Group’s Chairman says the government’s 14-day quarantine rule for incoming passengers is the “greatest current impediment to the resumption of air travel” here.

Rose Hynes says this, and the recommendation against non-urgent travel, needs to be lifted “urgently.”

In a statement – after a meeting with regional TDs, she’s also welcomed the government’s newly-established aviation task force, but says – its work needs to be accelerated – to deal with the crisis facing the industry.
