BIG BROTHER

Former Big Brother winner Pete Bennett has admitted he's upset and angry after reportedly being told he won't be appearing in "Ultimate Big Brother" which starts next week. The show will mark the end of BB, featuring some of the shows most notorious characters. But tourette's sufferer Pete says after passing all the psychological tests and being told he was in - he's now been dropped.

LADY GAGA

Fans of Lady Gaga are believed to be putting their eyesight at risk by wearing novelty contact lenses, to copy the star's doe-eyed look. It's thought special effects were used to make the singer's pupils look huge in the video for hit single Bad Romance. One UK online supplier claims to be selling five thousand pairs of the contact lenses a month - but the Royal College of Ophthalmologists say they can increase the risk of eye infections and corneal ulcers.

BONO

It's reported U2 frontman Bono has started smoking again while having to lie still with a spinal injury. The 50-year-old has battled the habit and smoked on and off through-out his career, but it was thought he had given up for good. After having surgery on his back in May, the singer has had to rest up for two
months.
