HAMELESS STAR IN 'HIT N' RUN'

Shameless star Elliot Tittensor has been arrested and released on bail in connection with a hit-and-run incident.

Tittensor, who plays Carl Gallagher in the Channel 4 show, handed himself in an hour and a half after a teenager was hit by a BMW in north London in the early hours of Sunday.

The 18-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries.

GUNS N' ROSES TOUR FACE AXE

It seems Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose has called off the band's tour.

He's posted on Twitter all upcoming dates are cancelled, and that fans should seek refunds.

The band was due to play at Reading and Leeds festivals later this month.

WILL YOUNG IN TV DRAMA

Will Young has landed another acting role.

The singer - who's been in Skins and Mrs Henderson Presents - is to star in a supernatural thriller called Bedlam.

It's set in a disused asylum which is being converted into flats.

The show's being made for the TV channel Living.

ONE SHOW RE-LAUNCH

The new host of The One Show has admitted having to change her dress for tonight - because she forgot her 'pull-in pants'.

Welsh presenter Alex Jones makes her debut on the famous sofa alongside comedian Jason Manford as part of the show's makeover.

One of her first assignments will be interviewing Baywatch star Pamela Anderson - who also dated her ex, Steve Jones.
