Adam Ant's comeback hit a sour note last night after he apparently started a fight at a charity gig in Portsmouth.

The pop superstar of the Eighties also offended the audience of devout Christians after performing a cover of the
Rolling Stones' song Sympathy For The Devil.

Adam, real name Stuart Goddard, was playing the gig at a Christian social centre.

He was then booed off stage before clashing with the promoter's son backstage.
