Woodford Gun Club are holding their annual shoot this Bank Holiday Monday the 2nd of August from 11am. BBQ,beverage facilities and €1000 in prize money.The Woodford area will be signposted leading to the shoot location.
The 7th Whitegate GAA golf classic takes place on Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of August at East Clare golf club. 3000 euro worth of prizes and on course barbeque. Entry fee €180 per team, contact 061 640044 for time sheet.
Clare County Council has extended the closing date for receipt of completed Quality of Service Surveys until Friday 13th August. Surveys received by this date will be included in a draw for €500.Surveys are available at all public offices of Clare County Council and on line at www.clarecoco.ie.
Mullagh horse and cattle show in association with Bothar are holding their annual fundraiser dance this Friday July 30th at the Crosses of Annagh. Music by PJ Murrihy and tickets available at the door. All proceeds to Bothar charity.
