West Clare Drama Festival is being held in Doonbeg  March 6th  – 15th.  Adjudicator: Geoffrey O’Keeffe.  Tonight the Sliabh Aughty Drama group, Clare presents “Rosie & Starwars“.     On Thursday 11th the Ennis players, Clare present “The playboy of the Western World”.  Doors open at 7.30pm.  Adults €10  Children €5.  Season Ticket €60.

Clare Sports Partnership and Clare Athletics Association are running a Fun Run Series of 5events first of which is a 5K Fun Run Friday 19th of March at 6pm in Ennis. Open to all over 18, you can walk jog or run. For full details contact 6865434 or see claresportspartnership.ie

Teagasc are organising a walk on the farm of Mr. Michael Hegarty, Crowhill, Newmarket-on-Fergus today at 2.30 p.m.  Featuring:  Management of 60 cow Suckler Herd, Producing Quality weanlings/Yearlings and Bull Beef, Breeding Programme, Benefit of early turnout to grass & Soil Aeration Demonstration by Len Gaynor.  All Farm Families are invited to attend.
