Feile Fever

So the Feile bandwagon rolls out of Clare leaving in its wake a feel good weekend which it will be hard to replicate.

Thousands of children and adults flocked to the county to enjoy a superb weekend of hurling, camogie and handball.

From Friday it was clear that Clare 2010 was going to be a special Feile and the boost that it will give the games will not be known for many years but one thing is certain that future All Ireland winners will have been witnessed and have played at some venues across county  Clare.

The chalenge facing the Gaa is how to use and exploit the enormous goodwill which the Feile has generated.

In the 23 years since the county last held the tournament 2 All Ireland's and an U21 title came to the county, one would hope that Clare can benefit to some of the same exten in the coming years for the 201 incarnation.

It will be upto those in charge however to make sure that what was observed over the last few days is not lost or squandered.
