So we're in to the final countdown for our live Clare's Got Talent semi-finals... very exciting indeed... lots of anticipation around here!

However one thought has crossed my mind - given that i'm hosting the actual event over the next 5 weeks, am I going tohave to find some talent of my own to shine through? 

As a failed singer, guitarist and fiddle player, watching the standard of our entries has certainly given me some food for thought. 

It's just superb to see that in a world of Wii's and PS3's traditional dancing, singing, show songs, jazz hands and much more are still praticed and rehearsed in bedrooms around the county. 

Roll on Sunday.  (I wonder if my trombone is still in the attic?)
