So it is with much excitement and trepidation that I begin my preparations to go to Africa for the first time!  It's set to be a very challening couple of weeks - from next Monday when I fly out along with other volunteers taking part in the County Clare based "Building of Hope Project" for Fr. Martin Keane. 

Here in County Clare a wonderful group of people have set about organising The Building of Hope Project, which this time around is in Mombassa Kenya for 8 weeks - it started last week with the first group flying out to start construction of a feeding and education centre in the parish run by Fr. Martin Keane, originally from Cranny, County Clare.
