Investigations into Detective Garda Adrian Donohue’s murder are ongoing
Justice Alan Shatter described the killing as was an attack on the entire Garda force and he said good progress is being made in the investigation

Detective Donohue was the first Garda to be murdered in the line of duty since Detective Jerry McCabe who was gunned down in Adare, Limerick in 1996
