Morning Focus Wednesday October 19

Sinn Fein Presidential candidate Martin McGuiness was in County Clare last evening – albeit for a very brief pitstop
The former IRA member – who’s stepped down from his role as Northern Ireland’s Deputy First Minister to contest the Presidential elections cut short his visit to Ennis yesterday following delays in the filming of the TG4 debate in Galway
On his way to Cork – Martin McGuiness greeted party supporters gathered at the Templegate Hotel  – before boarding the campaign bus once again en route to Cork
He also took time for a call from Clare FM’s Morning Focus to rubbish claims that the Presidential election has become a two horses race, that he’s running only to boost Sinn Fein in the Republic, and that he knows more about IRA killings than he’s letting on
We heard his interview with John Cooke.
