On today’s Morning Focus we had our second debate ahead of the local elections, heard about the national broadband plan PLUS a plan to transform Bunratty Castle. Catch up on the best bits below:

Next on the show, we heard about the changing landscape of local politics in Clare. With many retiring and how electoral areas are changing, this election could see a transformation of politics in the county. Cllr Richard Nagle, retiring member of West Clare MD and Michael Guilfoyle, former Mayor of Ennis town council joined us to discuss these changing times. Listen back:

There’s a new plan to transform Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, which will be the largest investment in the facility since opening its doors to the public in 1963. The plan even includes a 4D 270 degree visitor experience. Gavin spoke to managing director Niall O’Callaghan about the project. Listen back to learn more:

This evening at 6pm, tune into Clare FM to hear from all seven candidates of the newly-created Ennistymon Electoral Area. Ahead of this debate, we looked at some the issues in Ennistymon area that may be points of discussion.
