Morning Focus – Tuesday 28/05/2019

Last Friday, we saw Saffron and Blue flags of a different kind line the streets in North Clare, James Mulhall told Morning Focus that rather than the Banner’s flag, it was the Swedish flag that was proudly flying in Lisdoonvarna. 

The small town welcomed King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia on the final leg of their Irish state visit.

That’s the question we posed on Tuesday’s Morning Focus to a number of those political newcomers… Mark Nestor Incoming FF councillor for Ennis, Roisín Garvey Incoming Green Councillor for Ennistymon and Newly Elected Fine Gael’s Joe Garrihy for Ennistymon on the phone.

Gavin spoke with Killaloe woman Olive Foley who is the Children’s Grief Centre Ambassador and Dr. Elizabeth Nixon who spoke about the research on how divorce and separation effects children.
