On a busy Morning Focus, Gavin’s guests included Ennis-based artist Rachel McManus who’s been working with residents at the Parc na Coille Nursing Home on a project that emphasises the value of our older people.

This edition of the show opened with a discussion of pre-nuptial agreements for the farming community. Garvin was joined by Margaret Donnelly of FarmIreland.ie and by Martin McMahon Clare County Chairperson of the ICMSA.

Gavin then heard about the deferral by Clare Councillors of a discussion proposals on the Clare section of the controversial Northern Distributor Road. Members here are to wait for a decision by the counterparts in Limerick.

A series of meetings is to take place across Clare on the issue of water quality. Ruairí Ó Conchúir, Community Water Officer for Clare, Limerick and Tipperary spoke to Gavin about the issue.
Vivian Farrell, Chief Commercial Officer of Modular Automation in Shannon was Gavin’s next guest. She told him about the benefits of choosing Engineering as a career, ahead of the annual Limerick for Engineering Showcase which takes place on May 2 in the South Court Hotel in Limerick.

One of the region’s most successful business people and Clare’s leading entrepreneur was Gavin’s next guest. Domhnall Slattery of Avalon, the aviation leasing firm told Gavin he’s confident the recovery is reaching the Banner county. Listen back below:
