The Tuesday edition of the show opened with a discussion of a new circular from the Department of Education calling on schools to consult with parents and teachers over policies on the use of social media.

Gavin was joined on the line by Mary Crawford, Principal of St Joseph’s Secondary School in Spanish Point.

The talk then returned to the Referendum on the Eight Amendment. Gavin heard from another General Election candidate. This time, Noeleen Moran of Sinn Féin.

Then, James Mulhall reported from the launch of new gas powered bin lorries by Shannon-based Clean Ireland Recycling.
