Morning Focus – Tuesday 13/02/18

On Tuesday’s edition of Morning Focus, Gavin is still giving away an overnight stay for two persons in honour of Valentines Day at one of the O’Donoghue Ring Hotels in Kerry. The stay includes bed and breakfast as well as a three course meal.

At 9 am, Gavin kicked off the show with a discussion about car insurance and in particular uninsured drivers with David Fitzgerald, Chief executive at MIBI.

Then, Gavin spoke to Aidan O’Leary MD at STS Ujet about the 28 jobs that are to be created in Shannon as a result of the merger between Ujet Group and STS Component Solutions.

At 11 am, Gavin spoke to Joanne Perill, Clarecare Springboard Project coordinator about the award they received for their work involving young people. Matthew O’Shaughnessy, a local young person, also spoke about his experiences with Clarecare.
