The show opened by hearing concerns about staffing levels within the fire service in Clare. Gavin was joined on the line by Cllr Johnny Flynn who’s raised the issue with the local authority. The show also heard from Chief Fire Officer Adrian Kelly.

Next, Clare FM’s Muireann Duffy reported from the streets of Ennis on what people would like to see from the Budget.

Dion Fanning, Chief Writer with SportsJoe.ie was Gavin’s next guest. He reported from Cardiff on the aftermath of Ireland’s victory over Wales to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

Tourism bloggers from all over the world flocked to Ireland this week. Gavin was joined by Scott Herder of boboandchichi.com who took a trip along with his colleagues to the Banner County.

Ciarán Staunton was Gavin’s next guest. He spoke on behalf of the lobby for immigration reform on the challenges facing those returning home to Ireland.

Frankie Coote updated listeners on animal welfare issues.

Fr Harry Bohan then joined Gavin in studio to discuss how the community of Sixmilebridge is coming together to support those bereaved by suicide. Listen back below:
