Thursday’s busy show covered topics from the tracker mortgage scandal to funeral costs. Listeners also got a chance to thank ESB crews now that power is back after Storm Ophelia.

Restaurants around Clare are being urged to join a unique fund-raising initiative to have their customers ‘dine in the dark’.
Fionnuala Murphy head of Fundraising and Communication for this initiative spoke to us about events being held on November 5 in The Market Bar & Restaurant, Ennis and The Bellbridge House Hotel, Spanish Point.

Staying on the topic of fundraisers going on throughout the county, a beauty pageant with a difference will be taking place at The Woodstock Hotel, Ennis on tomorrow Friday 20 October at 7pm in support of Rape Crisis Midwest. Counsellor from Rape Crisis Midwest Breda Larkin and contestant Laurence O’Brien came in to studio to tell us more about this novel fund-raiser. Listen back below:
