Thursday’s Morning Focus opened with a preview of a huge weekend for Ballyea, as the hurlers are set to take on Cuala in the All Ireland Club Hurling Final on Friday, March 17. 

Gavin presented a flavour of the excitement with a report from Ballyea National School and was then joined in studio by Ballyea Chairman, Pat Moylan.

Fr Diarmuid Hogan, PP of Oranmore, Communications Officer for the Diocese of Galway, joined Gavin to discuss the legacy of the late Eamon Casey, former Bishop of Galway ahead of his funeral at Galway Cathedral.
