As flooding fears intensified in South-East Clare, Clonlara resident Geraldine Quinlivan told Gavin how she had to leave her home on Saturday night on medical advice. Her husband and four sons have stayed on to try to save the house, alongside her brother and nephew. Cllr Michael Begley, Killaloe MD, and Tom Tiernan Senior Engineer with Clare County Council also joined in the discussion.

Ahead of a very special visit to Kilmaley N.S., French Ambassador H.E. Jean-Pierre Thébault and Deputy Pat Breen joined Gavin in studio. In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, November 27 when 129 lost their lives, the children of Kilmaley paid their own unique and beautiful tribute to the dead. Each of the children created a butterfly as part of a special condolences card sent to the French Embassy. That act of kindness was be acknowledged by Jean-Pierre Thebault who said the gesture was very moving and generous.
Pat Morris, President of Ennis Chamber of Commerce spoke to Gavin on a ‘day of action’ for businesses from Ennis and Kilrush, protesting at plans to increase rates.
Dr. Fionn Rogan of the Environmental Research Institute at UCC Reaction gave his reaction to the deal struck at the COP21 Conference in Paris. 
Focus Ireland is to expand homeless services in Clare and Ger Spillane, Regional Services Director, explained how this will happen.
Well-known ‘birder’, Eric Dempsey author of the memoir ‘Don't Die in Autumn’ joined Gavin to talk about his life-long passion for bird-watching.
Seamus Hayes joined Gavin to discuss the weekend’s sporting action. 
Gavin caught up with Rob O'Neill after his Blazing Saddles 24-hour fundraiser and also spoke with winners of the Cissie Roughan Award, Orla Howard and Brian Sheehan after their key roles in the Yes Equality campaign this year.
Clare native, Emer Hough, narrowly missed out on the top prize in the Great Irish Bake Off. She joined Gavin to talk about the highs and lows of the competition.
