The show opened with a look at the fact that one-in-ten people in Ireland are on the minimum wage. Gavin discussed this with UCD’s Micheál Collins, an economist and native of Ennis.

Lufthansa services to Shannon are to begin on Saturday next (April 29) and Gavin was joined on the line by Andreas Koester to discuss the development. Listen back below:

Gavin was then joined by Theresa O’Donoghue of the Public Participation Network, ahead of a climate parade in Ennis on Saturday (April 29).

Minister Heather Humphreys was in Ennis this week and Gavin caught up with her for a discussion about what the government is doing to help sustain and promote rural Ireland.
