A jam-packed edition of Morning Focus featured live music from an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Inis Mór.

The show opened with a discussion of supports available for workers facing redundancy, including those at the Moneypoint plant. Gavin was joined by Independent Cllr Ian Lynch and Fianna Fáil General Election candidate, Rita McInerney.

Then, Birgitta Hedin-Curtin of the Burren Smokehouse and Máirtín Walsh of Bórd Iascaigh Mhara joined Gavin to discuss the launch today (Fri, Oct 25) of The Taste the Atlantic Visitor Experience in Lisdoonvarna.

The round-up of weekend events featured The Willie Keane Memorial Weekend and a Barn Dance in support of Corofin man Leonard Donoghue.

The Friday Panel included Diarmuid McMahon, Doirín Graham and Martin Waldron. Their discussion focused on the shock news of the closure of Molex, the #votegate controversy and the Rugby World Cup.
