First on the show, Gavin spoke to Dr Gerry Burke, who is among the Clinical Directors at UHL who have penned a letter which describes the overcrowding conditions at the facility and says more funding is needed to increase bed capacity and staffing levels to tackle the problem. Catch up below:

Clare FM’s Head of Operations joined Gavin in studio next to talk about the documentary Soldier in a Bog, which airs this bank holiday Monday. Historian Padraig Óg Ruairc will also be on air talking about the British soldier who was found buried in a West Clare bog.
