The show opened with a discussion on the beef crisis talks, involving General Secretary of the ICSA, Cratloe’s Eddie Punch and Martin McMahon, Chair of the ICMSA in Clare.

Then Gavin heard from a mental health campaigner from Shannon who’s accused the Junior Minister responsible for mental health of playing politics with the issue.

Since his own experiences of mental health services, Gary Fitzgibbon has been lobbying for better supports for patients, supports that he says are still needed. Listen back below:

Michael McNamara of Griffith College then joined Gavin to discuss options for students considering their first-round CAO and other college offers.

The show rounded off with a chat about the Kilmurry Harvest Festival and a children’s reading event at Cultúrlann Sweeney in Kilkee.
