Pat O’Neill, Patricia McCarthy and Michael McNamara joined Pat Flynn to ask whether Leo’s lost the run of himself; the litter problem in Clare; ‘free’ education and handling the heatwave.

The show opened with a report from Clare FM’s James Mulhall who’s been visiting East Clare. Among those he spoke to was Eoin O’Hagan, an East Clare tourism advocated.

Then, Dr Micheál Collins from Ennis and an Assistant Professor at the School Of Social Policy, Social Work & Social Justice UCD outlined why the ‘living wage’ has increased to €11.90 per hour. He also expressed concerns about ongoing rent rises in the town of Ennis.

After that, Everest conqueror and MD of the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point, John Burke, joined Pat to chat about the landmark hotel’s 50th anniversary.

The show rounded off with a package from Clare FM’s Ryan Hanton, who went along this week to the launch of Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan, taking place from July 15 to 23 in Ennis. ]]
