Armageddeon?

Morning all,

I'd no idea when I began this blog earlier this week, that with-in the week we'd be under Alien Invasion.

Well, that's the view of some who are reacting to the sightings of a meteorite / fireball in the night skies over Clare yesterday.

Have to say, I didn't see it myself, but everyone is talking about it, so it must have happened, right?

Now, while some are seeing this (insert tounge in cheek here!) as perhaps the beginnings of an Alien invasion, the thought of Sigiourney Weaver riding shotgun all over Clare looking for stomach exploding extra-terrestrial critters acutally has the basis for a pretty low-budget movie......any budding cinematographers reading this.

On a serious side, whilst many refuse to believe in "aliens", bear this in mind.Given our place in the ever-expanding universe, our existance on earth could be viewed as being just like a singlular grain of sand amongst all the other grains of sand on Lahinch beach, for example.

Who is to say that "others" aren't  living on their own grain of sand, but at the Liscannor end!

Interstellar stuff
