It's That Friday Feeling

Only a couple of hours before the weekend begins, and all ready Tomás O'Leary has to carry my name on his back, just got the text from O2, Good Luck Tomás.

Perhaps the Welsh Dragon can do Ireland a favour by taming that Gallic Cockerel under the Millennium Stadium roof.

Looking forward to catching up on a lot of "+" TV over the week, so don't be too surprised if I've goggle-eyes come Monday,

Enjoy.

A Bright, Bright, Sunshiny Day

Morning All.

Apologies for my tardiness over the past few days, but if you've nuthin' to say, then say nuthin'!

So, are our Championship hopes dashed by last weekend's outing to Paris, or can we still stuff those immaculately WHITE shirts of the Auld Enemy into the ground?

We'll know more on Saturday afternoon, Have to feel somewhat for poor ROG though!

A Hazy Shade of Winter

To paraphrase a well worn saying  "It hasn't gone away, you know!"     The Winter that is, and it's back with a snap set to continue for the next few days at least, take care on the roads and paths.

Great to have Kilmurray Ibrickane heading to Croker for St. Patrick's Day - time to cancel the parades throughout the county...

Lot's of Talent on display at this weekend's "Clare's Got Talent" 1st.semi-final, Book your tickets for this weekend at Glór.

New Moon On Monday

What a dire weekend in Paris for the Men in Green! If only we could organise a transfusion of some of that Welsh blood then our Grabnd Slam hopes might be on track.

Looking forward to another exciting week on the air, we're back in the Clare FM Sky Studios in Shannon twice this week, I've got 2 Wii Fit consoles tto give away, and a Daily prize to be won on the 10-2-1 Quiz. All that and great music. Hope you can join me sometime this week.

Here's hoping Kilmurray Ibrickane  have their homework done for Sunday, we're all behild ye lads!!!

Love Is In The Air

Hells Bells, look at the time, just a few hours to get yourselves prepared for the mother of all "Love-In's", that wonderful day of complete commercial exploitation known as St. Valentinee's Day.

Have you seen the amount of young (& not so young men) walking down the town with out-size cards, huge examples of the declarations of love for persons knowen and unknown. I ask you, what would you be trying to divert attention away from if you have to get a card so large.....

Thursday Morning

Hi ya,

Spend the last 2 mornings in Clare FM's Sky Studios in Shannon where a great time was had by all. Back @ base today, catching up on all that forgotten and overlooked paperwork.

Been in the office since 9.30am and still haven't defrosted yet. I love the colder weather but can never keep as warm as I'd like too.

Manic Monday

Talk about a hectic start to the week!.

Firstly, even though I set the correct time on the alarm clock, forgot to "arm" the darm thing, so woke up 20 minutes later than normal this morning.

That alone was enough to turn the already frantic waking, washing, eating, school, commute cycle into chaos. Secondly, factor-in traffic and some time wasting on-line sees us here before you today.

Definitely wide-awake and ready for road. NOW!

Friday On My Mind

Hey All.

Was it just me, or was this 1st week of February the longest week ever!!!  It's coming to a close in a few hours and with it a chance to re-charge the batteries in preparation for another busy week ahead.

Been selecting some great tunes for Saturday's Heartbeat, so if you can, cuddle up with me (on your radio, of course!) from 10pm on Saturday.

Not much planned for the W/E, hope to see as much 6 Nations rugby as possible, and mabye have a Chinese later tonight or Sunday.

Armageddeon?

Morning all,

I'd no idea when I began this blog earlier this week, that with-in the week we'd be under Alien Invasion.

Well, that's the view of some who are reacting to the sightings of a meteorite / fireball in the night skies over Clare yesterday.

Have to say, I didn't see it myself, but everyone is talking about it, so it must have happened, right?

Once more into the breech, dear friends!

Hi all,

Well the fingers are still willing to press the keys in some sort of readable fashion,  I'll continue with this new avenue of communation.

Great to have the "Fla" back in the Irish rugby team for this weekend's 6 Nations opener against Italy. Don't have tickets for the game, but will have a ring-side seat in the sitting-room come Saturday afternoon.

C'Mon da lads @ Croker!
