Wolfe Tones have qualified for the county senior football quarter finals after securing a 1-8 to 7 point win over Ennistymon last evening in Cusack Park.
There was success too for Coolmeen as it claimed the U21 C football title after a thrilling game in Kildysart against the hosts which ended 10 points to 9.

The times and venues for the Senior Football Championship have been confirmed for this weekend.
First up in Miltown Malbay on Saturday is the meeting of Wolfe Tones and Kilkee at 2 o’clock, there’s a double header in Cooraclare with Kilmurray-Ibrickane taking on O’Curry’s at 2.30 while at 4, it’s the turn of Kilrush and Miltown St Joseph’s.
The final game of the day is in Quilty where Cooraclare and Doonbeg will do battle with a throw in time of 6 o’clock.
