Claims That Remote Working Strategy May Be A Barrier To Career Progression For Some Employees

The CEO of the Western Development Commission says government has a job of work to do to ensure their remote working strategy does not stall career progression for some employees.

The Rural Development Policy, which includes pledges to accommodate working from home, was launched earlier this week with one billion euro set aside.

The government plans to offer relocation grants to encourage people to move to rural areas, along with setting up hundreds of remote working hubs nationwide – including a number here in Clare.
