Foster Challenged To Wear GAA Jersey To Support Clare Charitable Cause

A charity challenge originating from West Clare may see Arlene Foster don a GAA jersey.

The DUP leader and Northern Ireland First Minister has been challenged to take part in the Change Your Colours initiative by outspoken GAA pundit Joe Brolly.

The Derryman was wearing a Mayo jersey at the time, as part of his support for the #ChangeYourColoursForCF campaign that is being held online, in place of the annueal Sile Callinan Seven-A-Side Ladies Football tournament.

Sile, from Cooraclare, lost her life to cystic fibrosis at the age of 26 in 2017 and this year’s challenge is raising funds for the Clare Cystic Fibrosis Support Fund and The Julian Benson CF Foundation.

Brolly invited Arlene Foster to take part in a video message posted earlier this week.
