ULHG Appeals For Patience As Services Resume At Six Midwest Hospitals

The UL Hospitals Group is asking those awaiting consultant appointments to remain patient, as efforts get underway to reduce waiting lists.

Services are gradually resuming at its six hospitals and patients are being advised of precautionary measures to take before and while they’re in hospital, on account of the public health emergency.

Almost all elective surgery, including inpatient day case surgery and outpatient appointments, were deferred last March as part of the pandemic response, resulting in already lengthy waiting lists getting even longer.
