Farmers across Clare are being urged to remain vigilant and be extra conscious of safety when out working.
It comes as research from the Health and Safety Authority shows that farmer’s attitudes to safety only changes after serious injury occurs.
18 people died on farms in Ireland last year, while 8 have lost their lives so far this year.
