Concern In Clare Over “Broken” Rental Market

An Ennis auctioneer has argued that Ireland’s rental system is now “completely broken.”

It comes as latest figures from Daft.ie have revealed that rents in Clare have risen by some 11% in the past year, to an average of €870 per month.

Those looking to rent a three-bed house can expect to pay around €800, a four-bed costs in the region of €875 while one-bed apartments are fetching just over €600 per month.
