Education Minister Reassures Clare Parents Of Children Without Secondary School Spot

The Education Minister says post primary schools in Ennis can apply for interim temporary accomodation in the event that they find themselves over capacity.

Joe McHugh’s comments come after reports that up to 40 sixth class pupils in the Ennis area still don’t have a school place for second level this September.

That has been blamed on an application process that has allowed pupils to apply for an accept places in different schools, but it also shows that capacity is tight.
