Debris on the M18 southbound has been cleared just before the Junction 10 Newmarket on Fergus.
A truck carrying soil led to the spillage and Gardai, the Fire Service and Motorway Maintenance worked to clear the area.

A section of the M18 northbound has reopened after being closed this morning at the Junction 13 Tulla Road following a vehicle catching fire.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and diversions were in place as the situation was dealt with.
Nobody was injured and the road reopened shortly after the vehicle is removed.

Meanwhile, the R462 Cratloe to Sixmilebridge road has reopened after being closed last night.
