Clare County Council says it’s on track to meet its targets to deliver new social homes under the government’s Rebuilding Ireland strategy.

The Council has been tasked with delivering 595 homes this year, including homes which have been built or bought, as well as new tenancies under the HAP scheme.

It expects to construct 41 new homes this year, and to purchase 72 – both ahead of target – although its target to lease 100 homes looks set to fall short due to a limited supply.
