Google Boss Insists They’re ‘Committed to Ireland’

The head of Google Ireland insists that the internet giant is committed to this country.

Finnuola Meehan has been speaking as Google rolls out the Staying Ahead Digital Roadshows, which is providing training to SMEs who are looking to do more of their business online.

An event with Clare companies is being held in Shannon this morning, following on from a similar roadshow in Limerick yesterday.

There, Finnoula Meehan told Clare FM that Google has invested around a billion euro in Ireland, and that it intends to stay here irrespective of any changes to taxes or other factors such as Brexit.
