Clare farmers are being urged to be mindful of both overhead and underground cables when out on the farm this summer.
The ESB is running an initiative to warn those in the agriculture sector of the dangers posed by electricity on the farm.
With the current weather conditions and working longer hours with tall machinery, sileage and baling can expose farmers to hidden risks with electricity poles and digging near them.
