Tributes Paid To East Clare Teacher Following Death In France

Tributes are being paid to a young East Clare woman who lost her life following a fall in France.

Eimear Noonan’s family have confirmed that French authorities informed them of her death, following the accident while out running.

The 21-year-old, who’s from Caher, was living in the small French town of Annonay where she worked as an English teacher, after graduating from UCC less than a month ago.

The alarm was raised on Thursday morning after she failed to turn up at the school where she works and appeals for information were made online.
