Scattery Island Wins Major European Tourism Award

Scattery Island has won a major European tourism award.

Minister of State for Tourism Brendan Griffin presented the EDEN award for sustainable tourism in Kilrush this morning.

The West Clare attraction follows in the footsteps of Loop Head and the Burren in claiming the honour – beating off competition from the Céide Coast in Mayo and Wexford’s Norman Way.
