Clare Accounts For 1% Of Calls To Crime Victims Helpline Last Year

Calls from Clare made up just one percent of the total received by the national Crime Victims Helpline last year.

But despite this, there was a 40 percent jump overall in the number of times people made contact with the helpline.

They say the received 4,100 contacts from people seeking support and information in 2016 – with 1,720 of these times on their free phone number.
