Clare joint hurling boss Donal Moloney says they will pick the team for Saturday’s All Ireland Quarter Final based on the 15 who are showing the best form in training.
Management are due to unveil their team for the clash with Tipperary tonight, with changes in personnel and positions expected from the Munster Final loss to Cork.
David McInerney is likely to miss out through injury, but Oisin O’Brien and Podge Collins are available for selection.
Moloney says the competition for places in the matchday squad is strong.
Meanwhile a former All Ireland winner with Tipperary feels they are returning to form at the right time of the season.
Ken Hogan says while their opponents will be eager to recover from the disappointment of the Munster Final, he feels the Premier are in a good place ahead of the game
