One of Clare’s best known music acts is set to be honoured by the county council.
Stockton’s Wing are celebrating 40 years in music this year with a tour of Ireland, which includes a stop in their hometown of Ennis for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
The band was formed in 1977 by four All-Ireland champion musicians and they’re well known for fusing traditional music with pop and rock.
