It’s advantage Newmarket Celtic in the race to be crowned Clare Premier Division champions.
The title holders moved two points clear at the top of the table thanks to a 4-1 win over Avenue United.
It means they come into next Friday evenings showdown with second placed Shannon Town knowing the title is safe if they avoid defeat.
