Historic West Clare Landmark Opens Doors For First Time This Year

A historic west Clare landmark is opening it’s doors to the public today for the first time this year.

Loop Head Lighthouse, which is one of the 12 Great Lighthouses of Ireland, is one of two “signature discovery points” in Clare along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Last year it attracted over 27,000 people over the tourist season, injecting an estimated 2 million euro into the local economy.
